A contractor built on coordination, not on talk
Trading since 2008, incorporated in May 2021, and still doing the unglamorous part properly: schedule the work, supervise the work, check the work, hand over the work.
From managing other people's sites to carrying our own contracts
Peterch Construction began in 2008 as a project management contractor. For years the work was coordination: schedules, resources, trades, and the awkward space between a client's intention and what actually gets built. Over that period the company accumulated skills, know-how and experience in design and build solutions, project management services, building trades and related engineering works.
In May 2021 the company was incorporated in Nigeria as an indigenous construction services provider. The incorporation did not invent the capability; it put a legal entity and a set of certificates behind work that was already being delivered.
What we actually hold ourselves to
Our objective is to give every client an “I am assured” experience when they choose us. That phrase is easy to print and hard to earn, so we reduce it to five procedures that either happen on a job or do not:
- A detailed schedule and resource plan that meets the client's objective, not our convenience
- Clear communication with every stakeholder, in writing where it matters
- Progress tracked, deviations identified early and corrected rather than explained at handover
- Close supervision of the quality of work, checked before it is covered up
- Completion and commissioning on the agreed date, or a written explanation and recovery programme
Vision and mission, in plain terms
Vision
To be a building contractor of repute, delivering beyond expectation, every time — the firm a client calls again for the second project, and recommends for the third.
Mission
To procure projects at competitive pricing, provide safe working conditions, and deliver quality work within a reasonable time frame.
We are not the cheapest quote on every job and we do not try to be. A price that cannot carry the specification becomes a variation, a delay, or a building that fails. If our offer is above another, we will show you line by line where the difference sits.
Six teams, one chain of command
Small enough that the person who priced your job is reachable. Structured enough that each function has an owner.
Management
Business development, procurement policy, project management and administration. Collectively more than 20 years in the construction industry, meeting regularly to review processes and pass learning back to site.
Administration & finance
Contracts, invoicing, statutory compliance and the records that a tender panel or an auditor will ask to see.
Procurement & outsourcing
Materials bought to specification, suppliers checked, and specialist trades engaged on defined scope.
Project management
Programme, resources, progress reporting, and the coordination of specialist trades on industrial and commercial jobs.
Technical planning & design
Design input, engineering solutions and the buildability questions that save money before anything is bought.
Project operations
The site itself: setting out, supervision, workmanship, safety and day-to-day delivery.
Trained people, not just available people
Delivery depends on the people standing on the site. We keep a comprehensive training programme running so that the team is continuously upgraded in both technical and management skills, and we invest in accredited certification and practical knowledge rather than assuming a trade is learned once and held forever.
Key engineering staff deployable to site have verifiable CVs, which we attach to tender submissions and make available to clients during pre-qualification.
We also believe a site should be safe for the people working on it and for the people living next to it. Safe working conditions are stated in our mission because they are a delivery requirement, not a slogan.

Things we will tell you we do not do
Honesty about scope is cheaper for everybody than a dispute in month three.
- Statutory valuation and surveying. Valuation reports for banks, courts or probate must be signed by an ESVARBON-registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer; survey plans for title must be signed by a SURCON-registered surveyor. We do not sign either, and we will not pretend a letter from us carries that weight.
- Quantity surveying as an independent service. That is Peterch QS, the practice of the same company. It will act for you independently of this contracting arm.
- Heavy plant ownership. We own hand tools and light equipment; cranes, excavators and heavy machinery are hired to the scope of each job. Pretending otherwise inflates the mobilisation cost you pay.
- Publishing client commercial information. Contract values, client names and completion certificates are disclosed to clients, tender panels and their referees — not published on a website.
If a job needs a discipline we do not hold in-house — structural engineering design, geotechnical investigation, statutory valuation — we say so at the quotation stage and help you appoint someone registered to do it.
Building in Nasarawa or the FCT?
Tell us the plot, the drawings you have and when you want to start. We will visit the site and come back with a priced scope and a programme.
