Borehole drilling, tanks and water reticulation

Motorised boreholes, overhead tanks and stands, pump sets and reticulation from source to tap. Sited properly, tested properly, handed over with the details you will need later.

Scope

What this covers

A building without a reliable water supply is not finished, whatever the certificate says. We drill and equip boreholes and then connect them properly to the building.

  • Motorised borehole drilling and development
  • Submersible pump selection and installation to the yield and head required
  • Overhead tanks, tank stands and platforms designed to carry a full tank, not an empty one
  • Geepee and poly tank installation, including the base that stops a full tank settling
  • Water reticulation: rising main, distribution pipework, taps and fittings
  • Borehole aprons, pump houses and security covers
  • Storage and pressure arrangements for multi-storey buildings

What a borehole job actually involves

Hydrogeological siting

Choosing where to drill before drilling. Depth and yield are not guesswork; if the area is difficult, we say so before you spend the money.

Drilling and development

Drilling, casing, screen and gravel pack as the ground requires, then development until the water runs clear.

Pump and tank

Pump set to the tested yield, tank stand fabricated or cast, tank mounted and plumbed with the overflow and washout that everybody forgets.

Test and hand over

Yield and pressure checked, electricals earthed, and the installation handed over with the pump details you will need when it eventually fails.

Capacity, not hope

A borehole that yields less than the household uses will run dry every dry season and no amount of tank capacity fixes it. Storage buys hours, not water.

Reference job

Our completed borehole contract in District 543, New Karu, combined a motorised borehole with a 2,000 litre overhead Geepee tank and a 100 metre perimeter fence with gate and barbed wire, and was delivered in 21 days. The detail is on the project page.
